Empowering Communities Through Compassionate Care

Building a world where everyone has access to quality healthcare and support

Since 2010, we've been transforming lives across 45 countries through healthcare access, advocacy, and community empowerment

Who We Are

Care Advocacy International is a global nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming healthcare access for vulnerable populations worldwide. Founded in 2010, we bring together healthcare professionals, community advocates, and local partners to create lasting change.

Our team of over 500 dedicated staff members and 2,000+ volunteers work tirelessly across continents to ensure that healthcare is not a privilege, but a fundamental human right. We believe in a holistic approach that addresses not just immediate medical needs, but also the social, economic, and environmental factors that impact health outcomes.

Operating in some of the world's most challenging environments—from refugee camps to remote rural villages—we've learned that sustainable change requires deep community engagement, cultural sensitivity, and long-term commitment. Every program we launch is designed in partnership with local communities, ensuring that our interventions are appropriate, effective, and sustainable.

What We Do

Direct Healthcare Delivery

We operate 23 permanent clinics, 15 mobile health units, and countless outreach programs that bring medical care directly to those who need it most. Our services include primary care, maternal health, chronic disease management, emergency response, and specialized pediatric care. In 2023 alone, we provided over 380,000 medical consultations.

Capacity Building

We train local healthcare workers, community health advocates, and volunteers to ensure sustainable, long-term impact in the communities we serve. Our comprehensive training programs cover clinical skills, patient advocacy, public health, and health system management. We've established 8 regional training centers that serve as hubs for ongoing professional development.

Policy Advocacy

We work with governments and international bodies to advocate for policies that improve healthcare access and protect the rights of vulnerable populations. Our advocacy team has successfully influenced health policy in 18 countries, securing increased funding for public health programs and expanding insurance coverage for millions of previously uninsured individuals.

Community Partnerships

We collaborate with over 200 local organizations, faith groups, and community leaders to design culturally appropriate health interventions that meet real needs. These partnerships ensure our programs are rooted in local knowledge and traditions, making them more effective and sustainable. We invest heavily in strengthening local health systems rather than creating parallel structures.

Stories of Change

Maria's Story - Guatemala

"Before Care Advocacy came to our village, the nearest clinic was a 4-hour walk away. My daughter almost died from a simple infection because we couldn't get help in time. Now, with the mobile clinic visiting monthly and community health workers just down the road, my whole family has access to care. My daughter is healthy and thriving in school."

Ahmed's Journey - Jordan

"As a refugee, I felt invisible in the healthcare system. The advocates at Care Advocacy helped me navigate the complex process of getting treatment for my diabetes. They fought for my right to care and taught me how to manage my condition. Now I'm healthy enough to work and provide for my family again."

Community Impact - Tanzania

"Care Advocacy trained 50 community health workers in our district. These local champions have transformed our community's health. Childhood vaccination rates increased from 40% to 92%, maternal mortality dropped by 60%, and families now have someone they trust to turn to for health advice."
